I created this model at the request of George Gruhn. George is a big fan of my banjo and has agreed to be my dealer. He likes the sound of my original World Banjo but wanted to see a more traditional design; a fancier head stock, more ornate fingerboard, a down tension tailpiece, and different sound holes. The resulting changes have produced the Kunkel Artist model. These banjos can also be seen on the Gruhn Guitar website.
